im having a bad flare up and doctor has prescribed antibiotics , i have the usual pain on right and left abdo as my diverticula is also in my small intestines. the problem is i have constant stomach ache like someones kicked me in the gut and have no appetite at all . im worried 😦

If you're like many DD sufferers, prepare for the antibiotics to make you feel terrible while they take away the infection. That happened to me on more than one occasion. To date, I've been symptom free for several months. As long as I'm mindful of my diet, have fiber every day, and drink lots of water, I'm okay.

so true about the diet. I take Biohm pre biotics and maintain lots of approved foods for this issue. I can immediately tell by the pain in my pelvic area when my colon isnt doing well, and then I switch to lots of water. and applesauce and broths.
