Constant urge to pee

I pretty much constantly feel pressure and like I have to pee. If I hold it in a long time the urge is stronger but as soon as I go, the urge starts creeping up again. No burning. Seemingly no discoloration or smell,
I've had this problem before which lasted maybe a year and then it gradually faded? But then it came back sometime last year and it's wearing me down so bad to where I break down and lose it some days. I've been to doctors and I never really get much help. The last Urologist cost me what? $400 to $500? And I got nothing out of it and now I don't even know what to do or who to turn to. I just don't have money to keep spending and not even be helped. Most doctors I go to just do the same thing. "Oh it might be a UTI. LEt's check" again and again. One of the only doctors who offered anything outside the box was a doctor from a few years ago who thinks I might have unintentionally trained my bladder to be this way. The most recent one I went to said it might be overactive bladder or something and kinda brushed me off.
I officially had lab tests done that determined I do not have a UTI. I know it isn't an STD because I had this problem before ever partaking in anything like that.
I've tried quitting soda and drinking only water. Still doing that. I'm even trying bladder training currently and I just don't feel like it's really doing much for me? I'm forcing myself to hold it in longer now but even when I do that I'll still have to go again shortly after. I once held it for like 5 hours, emptied, felt a little better, and then I get in the car and shortly I have to go again. It's just this constant awareness I have of my bladder, this constant feeling of like a little pressure or urge. I don't really leak much. Maybe once or twice I have though? I remember one morning waking up feeling like I must have just started my perod but it wasn't that.
So I mean I am at my limit here. I just don't know what kind of doctor to go to anywmore. And like I just can't bear the thought of dropping another $400-500 like a damn fool.

Did you lift anything heavy or have children? From your case It sounds like a prolapse bladder but I can be wrong (I'm no doctor). That would just be my guess.. But self diagnosing is never key. 😧

I'm strong and do life things occasionally, but I know well enough to use th3e muscles of my arms, etc. I don't have any children and I was tested for that by the urologist and all checks out well.
I almost wish they found something not too serious so they could treat it!!!
Im counting on it disappearing in its own time - the sooner the better.

Hi I'm new to this as well.
In the process of getting a diagnosis by specialists. My gynaecologicalist thinks it may be interstitial cystitis or an over-active bladder. I do get relief lying down. I also find doing pelvic floor exercises help.

Hi
I've have the same symptoms as you for the past two months. I have had numerous tests done by my GP. I've seen a gynaecologicalist recently who thinks I have interstitial cystitis (IC) or an over active bladder. I have have been sticking to a diet that does not irritate the bladder, as advised by my gynaecologicalist. So, no coffee, tea, chocolate, tomatos, oranges amongst other foods.
I don't feel pain. I feel a dull sensational around my bladder like I need to pee. I the feeling is intermittent. Yesterday, I had no symptoms but today the feeling of pressure is back.
I have an appointment with a urologist coming up. I also booked in to see a naturopath to find out if my diet is contributing to my problem.

The urge to pee I normal, except when it happens every hour or so, you almost have to work your life around it. Like many here, I have no pain, no leakage, no difficulty in holding it; just that normal urge that anyone has that they have to go to the bathroom.
Last night, I drank sips of vodka/cranberry juice (I don't usually drink anything) and I guess it made me tired and I fell asleep. What was good about it was that I did not wake up until 4 hours later vs. 1 hour.
I just started taking the D-Mannose and I don't know whether I should see a uro-gynecologist; what will she do that a urologist doesn't? It's sort of a big deal because it' a long trip and I need to know if they have been of some help to those that have this.

I have gone to every hosp i could and they told me ur problem cant be treated but can be cured by medications such as those which relax bladder and kegel exercise...even after taking dozens of those drugs, doing kegel exercise decreasing water intake for one year pain is still there as usuall from first day when it started....
I have no known infection...there is suspicion of tender prostate although its invest tests were normal...

I'm so glad that I found this thread. I am 24 years old and this has been my life since I can remember. Always having a constant urge to pee, if I hold it in too long, I will uncontrollably pee on my self, like it just comes out even if I try my hardest to hold it in, and I never stopped wetting my bed. I don't have an STI or UTI (I am not even sexually active yet). I've tried the little help I can but nothing has been of help. It's really sad and depressing, cos I constantly have to wear a panty liner so I don't wet my underwear, I always have to locate the toilet wherever I go, my day is constantly filled with the thought of me wanting to pee; and I can't have sleepovers, a relationship or even travel cos I fear that I'll wet the bed

Hey guys i can feel your pain and struggle , i am 20 years old and i've had this problem of constant urge to pee as long as i can remember but i basically learned to live with it until i had a girlfriend and another problem came. So when i was supposed to sleep with her, i couldn't because i got urge to pee in wrong moment and i had to go to the bathroom this turned in an awkward situation ( because i couldn't get an erection when i was supposed to and this killed me ) and eventually i lost her. Than i finally went to see the urologist and after ultrasound he gave me medicine detrusitol and also told me that i should do MSCT(he said i have OB). At first i felt slight improvement because i thought oh there is something wrong with me and those tablets will help me. After i did MSCT he told me that everything is fine with me and i dont have any disease and i should keep taking detrusitol ( and i was already taking it for 3 months) and i should come in 2 months for check up and that he thinks that i will be fine , if not i should to neurologist. And actually after he told me there is nothing wrong with me symptomes came back. Also i quit caffeine coz i hoped it would help me. I used to drink 3 coffees and now im just drinking 1-2 cups of green tea(which has minimum caffeine). I am getting desperate, will someone help us for f**k sake
