Constantly exhausted and loss of breath

Hi, I've been suffering with health anxiety for just over a year now. Over the past year I have gotten a lot better, not 100%, but a far cry from heading down A&E numerous times a week several months ago. The past two weeks though I've been completely exhausted, to the point where my day to day responsibilities are near impossible, I constantly feel lethargic and out of breath. It feels like my energy levels have dropped 70%. Now I know as human beings this is normal from time to time, but for me it's recently be near on constant. He got really bad today when I attempted my usual 6 mile job, half way through I was really struggling, had to stop and walk a few times due to being totally out of breath and having chest pain. I pushed myself to complete the run, probably not the best idea as I'm constantly on edge now and struggling hence why I'm posting this. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this before?

P.S. I've had numerous ECG's, blood tests, chest x rays, echo cardio, heart monitor and echo cartograph stress test.

Thank you

Unfortunately it's all part of health anxiety. I suffered on and off for nearly 15 years with it, it's awful. I get blood tests done regular and all is fine. I think constantly of my heart yet had no problems with it x

I have the same thing going on currently. Started with swollen lymph nodes after an actual illness about a month ago. I still feel I have symptoms. It really is aweful. I put ideas in my head of sickness and death. I've had blood work and X-rays and have had doctors yell at me saying I'm ok. I also find it harder to do things on certain days because of my ruminating thoughts.

I struggle with these same systoms a lot. There is days when I feel as if I can't walk thur store without feeling exhausted. Almost like shortness of breath but never over worked. I can clean house for 30 min and feel as if I ran a marathon. Had cardio and all kinds of test all clear. It's a struggle for us each day to continue to push forward.

It sure is Sheila but we can all continue to fight it. We all have each other on here, I find this helps a great deal xx

Some days I have energy to clean the house, work in the yard and other days, which is almost 6 days a week, I can't get the energy up to do a thing.  I get out of breath even taking a shower and sometimes walking across the room. Anxiety, I guess that is what it is, is absolutely devistating.  I don't know how to fix it, other than continue taking the medicine, which I would love to get off of.

    Hey guys,

I had the same anxiety and had severe panic attack many times, and I know what are you going through, shortness of breath, the heart is racing like crazy, feeling that you are going to faint and die right on the spot. But all that is a mind trick, where your stress hormones are kicking in and make you feel that you're going to die. That is fearing of fear, nothing is going to happen. All these symptoms are very natural and the only way is to overcome is to calm down, what I mean is that you have to tell yourself that is ok and as you can see your not alone, about 30 to 40% of the population has anxiety.Because I have been there, I know you can manage it and eventually you can go back to your normal life. Here is what you need to do.Just do one thing, tell yourself that "I had that many times before and nothing happened and nothing will happen now". It's like rip current in the ocean. The current will take you deep into the ocean, and it doesn't matter how good a swimmer are you can't beat the current by swimming directly back to the shore, it will pull you faster than you can swim, if you panic you will be exhausted and probably will drown. I am not trying to scare you but this is pretty close what anxiety feels like. More you think about it more hormones are being released, more hormones more severe your anxiety will be. So, back to rip current, if you swim parallel to the shore you will be out of current with ease and there will be no threat to you, and if you think less about your anxiety faster it will subside because your adrenaline will be exhausted and your boy will return to its normal condition. Hope this make sense.Try to listen to some music that will help divert your attention from anxiety, or do something else don't sit and dwell on your anxiety. It will come back even stronger. But always remember, anxiety is part of us, it happens when we are threatened, not necessarily you will notice why but your subconscious will sense it and it will trigger the panic attack.I hope this will explain why you have it, even though doctors tell you that you are perfectly fine. Most doctors don't know what is anxiety attack feels like because they never experienced it first hand. And the only solution they have to prescribe drugs. But the ones who experienced an anxiety attack, they will tell you that you don't need one because it's normal to have one.Hope this will help. Sorry for posting such a long post.
