I have been dealing with an upset stomach anyways I am always checking myself if I feel hot or look flushed. Ive noticed when I start worrying I do feel hotter from the face but my feet and hands get really cold ! Constantly I check my temp I want to check it right now but the thermometer isnt working ! 😭 This fear started when I had a low grade fever Friday night & im afraid of fevers as I think they are signs of something very serious. Advice, thanks.

Its probably a good thing your thermometre isn't working. Body scanning just hightens your symptoms as you are training your brain to pick out issues.

I can assure you i get hot flushes with my anxiety and my hands/feet are always cold. But i'm not sure if this will help you.

You know your own body better than anyone else and you also know your health anxieties are severe. We on this forum can provide you assurances that these symptoms are not uncommon in anxiety but these comments are only providing you relief in the short term until your next health anxiety.

Have you sought therapy yet? As i really feel you would benefit from it. I like you spent over a year worrying about every illness going, but therapy has helped me move back on the right path.

I had 3 weeks of gut issues recently, pain, inconsistent BMs etc, blood showed my inflamation marker above the normal limit. Previously i'd have been so sick with worry about this but due to rationalising and cbt, i only had one small freak out with my family and then i managed to more or less manage my anxiety (the worry was still there but mindfullness reigned it it) until my follow up bloods. The marker has dropped again, indicating my body was just fighting off a virus or something. Nothing sinister! Dr was happy to just follow up with bloods in 3 months, so i've got to accept their judgement is best, they're the train ones. It's not always easy but it does become more managable.

Don't be afraid of seeing and talking about this with your doctor, they can address your health concerns, see if you have picked up a virus (which as per my case above is very common and doesn't mean it will lead to something horrible) and put you in touch with therapists.

    Best wishes x
