Have you called her GP? Eating is not the issue; she needs to be hydrated. I am thinking of you both.

Call the GP could have an infection or maybe had a mini stroke, firstly she needs to be hydrated and have. Bloods taken either at home or GP may admit to hospital. If you're very concerned and she's not responding at all 999 ?

The GP saw her yesterday. Says she has light lunginfection and prescribed antibiotics.  She was able to eat a light breakfast and took the prescribed medication but fell alsleep again. Responding now but is still sleepe and her skin feels damp and cold.

Oh that's good main thing is to keep giving fluids and let the meds do their work to combat the infection.

wishing all the best, get the doc out again if at any time she deteriorates further x

Hi Kath - she is sitting in her decliner at the moment and is responding when I talk to her. Her caregiver is feeding her crushed ice at the moment. She looks better - I shall get something to prevent dehidration as soon as the pharmacy is open later this afternoon.

I was just worried about the constant sleeping.  I have read somewere that PSP patients can enter a "sleepin phase" at the end of their life sicle. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say - English is not my first language!
