Constipation

Help ! After enduring weeks of bleeding and diarrhoea,had a blood test and was found to be very anaemic so given some iron tablets,after 3 days I am getting constipated, don't know what to do,any suggestions please.?

    Bleeding from bottom end or female monthly? How much water are you drinking ? Lots of floods and apple sauce helps

    Do you take a stool softener like Fybogel or Metamucil?  If your doctor agrees, that might help.  Otherwise as suggested, lots and lots of fluids.

      Hello Felicia, thank you for your reply,I shall give plenty of fluids a go first, then maybe try the others.
