Consultant phoned

From my ultra sound they said simple cyst, when I saw my surgeon last week he said the ct scan showed the same. But part of my cyst is solid but my surgeon thinks that is my ovary. 

They took my case to cancer team to double check everything and got to have MRI to double check. 

But when I spoke to my surgeon last week I asked him straight out what we looking at it being and he said very unlikely plus all bloods are normal. When I saw him he said to my sister that if it was a family member of his he would be resured. 

Just so much worry! 

So I think it's simple cyst .. can I ask why?

I have 2 complex 3 & 6cm and ca125 came back 21

My consultant phoned this morning to explain things again and he has said we are still looking at it being very unlikely to be cancer, 

He has said if my MRI doesn't look right he will go back to cancer team and take it out whole but if MRI comes back clear it will be key hole. 

Mine was 6cm thick walled with septation and blood flow

What was yours like? What was your ca125?

What was Mine like? In terms of what sorry??  My CA125 was 20 which is normal. 

Who told you it was thick walled and blood flow?? 

What type of cysts did you have? What did they do? I've have ct scan and now need a MRI -my consualnt called me this morning as he called me Friday but I wasn't sure what he was on about as he woke me up so he called back to explain and he has said the MRI scan will show any tissues inside cyst, if there is no concerns from MRI they will do key hole , if they find any suspicious they will talk to cancer team and will be open surgary but he did say to me today that all my bloods are normal which he said is good and resureing from there point of view and if it was cancer my blood results would be abnormal 

My cysts were both "complex dermoid" - They were 99% sure prior to my surgery that it was non cancerous. They did an open surgery because of the size, the surgeon felt they could rupture if it was do laprascopically.

I’m worried as they haven’t reassured me in anyway just keep saying they are complex and need further investigating 😢

Was yours cancerous or non cancerous ?? 

I've been told if my MRI comes back clear that they can do key hole as they will be able to pop the cyst and that is fine if my MRI is clear. 

Are You able to call someone professional to talk things through? 

My consultant/ surgeon has said mine is very unlikely to be cancerous.

Maybe ask them that direct question .. as I just asked mine "what are we looking at it being, cancer or not?" And his reply was very unlikely to be cancer and when I saw him a few weeks ago he said to me that if it was a family member of his own he would be reassured so far. But on phone yesterday and Friday he said it's still very unlikely to be cancerous 

Are you able to ask someone?? How old are you if you don't mind me asking? And remind me have you had ca125 ? If so what was it?
