Contagious?

Does anyone know if your contagious if you have hoarseness related to the flu?  I don't have the flu but when I was at the dentist office the dental assistant was hoarse.

    That may not be the flu. Coughing fever sore throat body aches. If he had the flu he wouldn't be walking or working.

    rest easy your ok.

    If you have a germ in you then you can be contagious for 2-4 days if the germ is the flu even longer. If u have the flu trust me you know it. Hoarseness sound like viral. Usually attacks trackea area first.
