contagious colon bacteria

My husband has been I'll for many months now. My Aunt was diagnosed with a contagious bacteria in her colon. I'm having issues trying to find out the name of it in order to have him tested. Would anyone be familiar with the name of this type of thing or any ideas on how to find out? It would be most appreciated.

    Well the classic contagious bacteria of the Colon are Clostridium difficile smile Here's the Patient UK leaflet about it :

      Thank you kindly Benny Blanco.  I believe this is what it is !!!!  My husband will take this information to his doctor in the United States.  I've never hoped for my husband to have an illness, but if this is why he's been ill, we are in your debt !!
