Continual Migraine Aura with Heatwaves

Hi, I am so pleased I have found a forum for people suffering with Silent Migraine. My boyfriend has been suffering with strange sensations and visual disturbance, which prevents him watching television, among other things. He has recently seen a Neurologist, who diagnosed Migraine Aura with heatwaves, along with anxiety. I just wondered if anyone else suffered with anxiety also? My boyfriend was prescribed Propranolol & Citalopram by the Neurologist but hasn't tried this combination of medication yet. He is firstly trying a block of Acupuncture treatments, he had the second treatment today & feels a lot better, which is encouraging. I am a Complementary Therapist and found undertaking a variety of massages, especially Indian Head Massage has helped but only temporarily. I just wanted to share this information with fellow sufferers & would be very interested in hearing anyone else's suggestions.

    Hi there,

Happened across your post and was wondering if the accupuncture was helpful? Having continual visual auras for almost 2 weeks now and was considering accupuncture
