Continuous muscle spasms and numbness all over my body

So I really need some help and advice. About 10 months ago I started getting little twitches not everyday but occasionally. It never bothered me but it carried on got worse over and started spreading to other parts of my body. Now for the past few months I have been experiencing awful spasms its like someone kicking from the inside of my body on a daily basis. My legs and feet get it the worse but my face can spasm, my arms, palms, fingers, back, stomach, you name it and it feels horrible. I also sometimes experience aches in some areas of my body too. I get vibrations in my legs as if ants are crawling down them the spasms are so intense I get a spasm or twitch like every 5 mins sometimes they can continue for a few minutes then its like the odd couple kicks. I have recently been experiencing numbness in my calf's its hard to explain they will go heavy and numb and will stay like it until I move it? In fact its been doing it all day today for some reason. To be honest its only started bothering me this week I did actually just use to ignore it and think its nothing but as its got so horrible I'm thinking I might have a nerve problem such as nerve damage, als, parkinsons, Multiple sclerosis or brain tumour or diabetes like anything and its starting to worry me. What I don't understand is why has my spasms got worse if I never ever even thought about it until this week? And what is it? What do I do?
I'm 19 I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder 2 years ago as well as panic disorder I used to have panic attacks oftenly but haven't had one for a few months. I used to be a proper hypochondriac but I hadn't worried about my health for months until now. I do worry a lot about random things infact I over think a lot of things so I think my anxiety has got worse. Before this actually happened about a year ago I got a random numbness in my right side of my face and I was seeing flashy lights that only ever happened once though. I drink alcohol sometimes before it started I was only drinking Saturdays and Sundays not necessarily heavy I do drink like 3 nights a week now there was one point where I was drinking like 5 nights a week cause I was depressed but I've cut down recently. I don't have much of an appetite I eat like one meal a day just because I'm hardly hungry. I'm just letting you know in case any of this could have anything to do with it. I really hope its nothing bad I just need someone to put my mind at ease. I haven't been to a doctor about my spasms and all that i think I'm too scared too.

honestly, Ive been dealing with the exact same thing and just posted about this issue. I've been diagnosed with panic disorder and I've been dealing with severe health anxiety for the past few months. I have muscle twitching almost constantly all over my body, literally seems like almost all of my muscles are twitching involuntarily throughout the day. i'm looking for answers to this as well, and I'm going to the doctor finally
hope you feel better

Jess, As a nurse I can tell you that muscle twitching is extremely common when you have anxiety. I can also tell you that I had that happen starting in my 20s when I had a bunch of symptoms of anxiety all at one time. Vibrations in the legs, aches, and feeling crawling sensation is also normal. I have had that too and at that time I thought I had something terrible but guess what? All due to our friend anxiety!
The other thing is that alcohol can make your anxiety and symptoms worse. It competes with a good hormone in the brain called endorphin which is a feel-good hormone. Try to limit the alcohol if you can.
even though I totally feel your sensations are due to anxiety, I always tell everyone just to have a check up with your doctor for your peace of mind.
with anxiety, the problem is not the symptoms. The problem is that a lot of people don't know how to manage the anxiety which causes the symptoms. All anxiety starts in the brain so you need to relax that in order to reduce or eliminate symptoms. But just so you know, my symptoms started in my 20s and I am now in my 50s and I'm still alive! I still get occasional anxiety but I have been able to manage it to the point where I very rarely have any symptoms. If I get an occasional twitch here or there I just ignore it and it goes away. I only get that when I'm feeling stressed out.
Things I have learned over the years:
Do things that you enjoy and that relax your mind.
take a long slow deep breath's in through your nose and out through your mouth like you're blowing out a candle.
Don't take life too seriously?. Life is too short.
nothing is worth losing your health over
be good to yourself. This is not your fault
don't forget to laugh and smile
Get exercise and eat healthy
if you're really struggling, speak with a counselor. It really helps to talk to someone!
there are some great meditations on YouTube for anxiety! Check them out.
you're going to be fine ??????

Thank you so much for replying especially from someone who knows what they are talking about I just social drink now I used to just sit at home and drink on my own just cause it relaxed me I have cut down a lot though. I just google my symptoms and that's the worst and it makes me think in going to die all the time. Will definitely cut down more and see if that helps. Because I've hot anxiety doctors just blame everything I get on it and don't even bother doing test etc.
