Conversion from hip resurfacing to THR Revision Surgery

Afternoon my new friends and family!

I'm preparing for tomorrow's hip revision operation after my first one on 18 March 2016 was cancelled.  I can't remember how nervous and anxious I was last time but know I definitely was, but as the hours tick by getting closer and closer to the operation, I'm getting more scared.  I know it's normal to feel like this.

When I read people's stories post op,it does make me feel a bit positive. It does help a lot to know so many other people have been through these operations and share their experiences.

I had a courtesy call not long ago to remind me to come into hospital tomorrow at 10:30 am!

I think it was Renee who said about 'surrendering' to the hospital so I will take this great piece of advice and this is what I will do.  I know I will be in good hands as the consultant is brilliant and also his registrar who I met on the day of my original operation day, who was so kind and lovely to me.

Anyway, I hope next time I post anything, it will be post-op and everything went smoothly.

Bye for now.  Pammyw.  xx
