I am so sorry you are feeling that way and are scared. have you had a scan done at all? Honestly, your sensations more closely align with severe anxiety and stress. The doctors must have a pretty good idea that you are suffering from anxiety. They would do a scan if they felt it was truly necessary.
many times I have had the headaches, dizziness, numbness, I still have ringing in my ears from when I first got anxiety in my 20s and that was a few decades ago. I’ve also had the sick stomach feeling, bodyaches and in addition weakness, floaters in my eyes,. I thought for sure I had something horrible. My symptoms lingered for quite a while and I still get occasional mild symptoms. Although not too long ago I had a sudden case of vertigo which was really bad but it’s all anxiety related.
please remember that when we have anxiety, negative and scary thoughts often arise. we end up thinking and thinking and ruminating about all the what if‘s. fear sets in and we are completely terrified.we come up with a diagnosis for ourselves and convince ourselves that it’s correct. All of those thoughts are based only on fear and not on fact.
This is extremely common with people who have anxiety! i’ve been dealing with anxiety for a very long time and you wouldn’t believe how many people are doing the exact thing that you are doing. it’s not your fault because this is what anxiety does to people. They think of the worst case scenario.
the body can only take so much stress and anxiety and that it has a breakdown. A breakdown with physical symptoms that are not harmful but they’re scary .
I would suggest that you try a different approach to this. Try to completely relax your mind and take a more casual response to the sensations you are feeling. when you tone down your mind, your brain realizes that there’s no danger. But a fearful mind will create more sensations. You have to take one day at a time. some ideas are as follows .
What I do is each day usually in the morning and evening, I completely relaxed my entire body by listening to A body scan meditation for anxiety.
I also try to stay busy because then I don’t think as much.
I have a counselor that I speak to from home virtually. That’s very helpful to vent to somebody else who has great ideas on anxiety management.
Think of what may be causing your anxiety and consider getting counseling if this doesn’t resolve soon.
I get a little exercise no matter how I’m feeling even if it’s just walking because that releases good hormones in the brain
Stay hydrated with water! Very important.
there are hundreds of videos on YouTube where they talk about anxiety and how to manage it. You might get some good ideas there.I still get some anxiety symptoms from time to time but I basically ignore them because I know they’re not harmful and they will eventually go away. just take one day at a time. Some days may be better than others. Maybe you could eventually get a medication adjustment if that’s causing issues for you. Keep in touch with your doctor and I really hope you feel better soon.
