hi all, i have just been referred to rehab, had the assessment last week and now have to wait.could be the end of march.
the course is 6/7 weeks 2 hours twice a week, can anyone tell me what happens and what to expect.

Great you are attending a course on pulmonary rehabilitation, it will help you a lot. Let us know how you get on. A month's wait is not long at all and will soon come round.

i have just started a 5/7 week course on a pulmerary rehab
it is really interesting when you get there they mointer your oxygen normally a group about 6 people with the same conditions as yours are there
You learn how to breath properly also healthy eating and diets and using the excersice equipment there
they dont push you just to your own pace and tia chia which is slow excersice for the breathing
i have been going 2 weeks now and its lovely to talk to other people with the same condition

Exercise a healthy diet and quitting smoking smoking are indeed the message that allows us to control emphy.
It can have escaped notice that graham2 posted almost 2 years ago so will have enjoyed the benefits that come from such education mixed with activity .
