    Hi Michelle.

Be aware that most of us are not medically qualified  and can therefore only tell you what we have experienced.

From the the stats you have shown, things certainly don't look too good.

Blood pressure can change constantly and is also afected by the meds she is on and when she took them and when the BP was taken.

60/50 sure is low, buut then again 180/55 is high ???.

It seems there is nothing NORMAL with COPD, so you can only hope that the doctor has got it right and is able to at least keep her comfortable.

I am sorry if this is not what you want to be told, but at 81 years of age and being on oxygen 24/7 the doctor seems to be doing as much as he can. She certainly would not be able to undertake respitory pulmonary excercises, which seems to be the " one size fits all " solution at the moment.

I wish you both well. Regards Robertgreynomad OZ

Thank you for your reply.... yes she is on heart and water medication and as comfortable as can be.... Doctor did tell us she has last stage lung and heart failure and we should be thankful she is breathing comfortably with oxygen....she is permanently in bed now.... any strain fm movent and she starts sweating...He did say he could do nothing more for her low BP but now that is so irractic is scary.... I just don't want her suffering but that is not in our hand God knows best ..... ...Thank you very much...
