COPD & hypoplastic right lung

Hi my mum shes 54 got bronchitis shes had it since 18 months old and not really bothered her that much she worked up till 4 1/2 years ago. Then She took poorly had pneumonia for 2 months without it being treated which scared her lungs on oxygen ever since now 4 ltrs now she has copd, right-sided heart failure, secondary respiratory failure, low immune system. But the main thing shes got is the hypoplastic right lung from the research I've done its very very rare we want to get her case out there so if theres any mdical professionals, professors or any1 who can help thanks or any 1 who can advise me thanks

Hi Kirsty so sorry to hear about your Mum
I don't know anything about hypoplastic lung but I am sure if you contact the British Lung foundation helpline you will get lots of help, BLF website has information of pulmonary fibrosis also as does Patient UK.
