copd in 7year old boy?

 I have a 7 year old son who today was diagnosed with copd. Has anyone heard of such a young person being diagnosed as such?

    When I was diagnose five years ago, aged 67, the consulant -a professor - reckoned from the scan that it had been caused by a trauma at birth. I was born prematurely during the war and somehow it explained quite a lot in terms of stamina/fatigue when I was younger.
