    It's chronic obstructive, reduced capacity and chronic congestion in the lungs usually caused by smoking, do you have it lisa?

    No, i do not have and i do not like smoking. But what is the meaning of PD.

    P = pulmonary (lungs)

    D = disease

    It's an umbrella name. Covering Pulmonary disease's. Emphysema, chronic bronchitis and some others. You produce more mucous and you can't blow the old site out to make room for new air. Takes some practice to learn to get the old out so the new can come In. I hope this helps you understand.
