Core Muscle Pain

Do any of you have core muscle pain with your PRM?  I've been having that plus hip, thigh and knee pain.  I think the dreaded PRM is back!  Along with that will be the dreaded meds.  Thanks for your input.

Hi Judy, so sorry to hear that you are having a time of it.  I would not have pain as such but an ache.  I tried to go out for a walk but had to turn back due to my left calf muscle pulling.  I thought I was doing so good in reductng pred from 20mg to 10mg without any flares which is good so I shouldn't really complain.  Someone with more experience will be along shortly, they are a great bunch.  Hang on in there.  Pat

    Try Bowen Therapy.

It is well worth giving it a go.

I had major problems and was eventually talked into by PMRpro, I just wished I had listened to her earlier.

You have to committ to three sessions of treatment in three consective weeks.  If it does not do anything for you by then, it won't and the Therapist will tell you.

That is what I liked about it, they were not just after your money.

I cannot rate it highly enough, it got me walking again without a walking stick and a zimmer frame.

What do you mean by c'ore' muscle pain - your core (belly etc) or other major muscles?

The muscles in my abdomen.  From my navel to my breast bone.  I had a gall bladder sonigram and it was okay.

As Lodger says - it could be coming from the other muscle problems.

Sorr, no, I don't have problems in that area, it's the only place that doesn't hurt at times!

As elieen often says, not everything can be blamed on PMR or pred.  Get yourself checked out.
