Corona and Asthma

Hi i am an asthmatic, i take a preventative inhaler morning and evening and i also have a reliever. I work in a manufacturing environment. What i want to know is should i carry on working or should i stay at home given that i have asthma? The official advice isn't clear as some people say stay home if you have asthma and some say only if you have severe asthma so i am confused. I rang my doctors and they just said isolate yourself if you feel at risk.

The government brief says Severe but on the asthma UK site it lists inhalers and dosage that you should be on to be deemed severe.Myasthma isnt severe but I'm on Relvar elipta 184/22 which is the highest dosage .Accordingly I should be receiving text/letter but have received nothing yet.

Yes i looked at the list on the asthma. org website. I use Fostair which is on the list. It states 200/6 2 puffs twice a day, now i use a 100/6 inhaler usually 3 puffs twice a day. So i guess im borderline so still unsure what to do

I think to receive the text you need to be on the maximum dosage of your prescribed medication as given in the list of inhalers.

Stay home and use the time to rest. Idk how you can work in that type of environment. Try searching for an online job. I had, what I thought were lung problems and stood up last year in May, and promptly fell into the arms of paramedics who miraculously arrived in time. I blood-enzyme tested for a HEART ATTACK! It took 5 weeks to get a TransAortic Valve Replacement because the second hospital I was in tore my artery during an angiogram and my blood count plummeted below where neither an open-heart surgery OR a Transaortic Valve Replacement could be done! They also failed to give me Erythropoetin to create new blood cells from my bone marrow, as my allergic reaction was so high, my body rejected organs (blood is an organ), until I searched for a new hematologist, who rushed to the hospital, himself, 3-4 weeks after being in the hospital, to inject me, himself! If you have been told your aorta is weak, get a Transaortic Valve Replacement.
If you've only seen a pulmonologist or primary care, get a referral to Cardiac specialist. If you live in Calif., look into the Sharp hospitals in that region. They are in Southern Calif., San Diego-ChulaVista.

I forgot to mention that, before my heart attack I kept growing into more and more allergies until I couldn't even eat fish anymore. I was trying to become Vegetarian.
