Costochondritis

Hi, I've had Costochondritis for bout 10 weeks now. I have had to have time off from work all this time as my job involves a lot of lifting. I know I cant be getting sick notes for work for ever so I am just wanting to know if theres anyone (in the UK) that has had to give up work altogether and how they stand where any benefits are concerned. This is really worrying me as I have read on here that some people have this condition for months even years. Thanks

I have had it for about 15 teen years. it really hurts at first. but the more you read up on it . it helps I make a quick movement of my upper torso. are lean down I will get that pinch. you need to use a heating pad when your home and press with your fingers real softly over the area in the chest where it hurts and anxiety makes it worst. take lite deep breaths try Tylenol and relax your chest as much as you can. i live in the USA so I can't help you with anything you can do for benifits . good luck and while your in the convid 19 stay at home take time to heal.
