Costochondritis and breast tenderness

Do any of you with Costochondritis ever experience breast tenderness? My Costo also moves from side to side. I was diagnosed on June 20 2017 through my local ER! When I followed up with my PCP he reviewed all of my blood work and discovered I also have Hypothyroidism.

I also have my Costo on both sides! I also have hypothyroidism. I take levothyroxine for it.  And, I also have breast tenderness  ... I just don't have any answers for you but it's amazing how we seem to have a lot of the same diagnosis ...

My wife has Costo only on one side and also has breast tenderness and is on levothyroxine for her thyroid. She has had anti an inflammatory for her costo that has not helped. Breast tenderness is helped by Evening Primrose oil. NHS Doctors used to prescribe it but now with cost cutting they don't as it does not need a prescription

I was on levothroxine but, had some side effects and was switched to Armour Thyroid.  So far so good. I go for a mammogram sept 5 just for my routine check up. I also found a soft moveable lump on my chest wall next to left breast. It's just there.  No pain. I often forget it's there. My PCP says it's absolutely nothing but fatty tissue.

I have the same fatty tissue but mine is to the left of my right breast! Doesn't hurt but caused me a great deal of anxiety until I saw my Doctor ...

Even though he says fatty tissue I'm still so nervous. I know God has my back and everything is coming to be just fine!

I'm beginning to think the thyroid is the common denominator here! Seems like a lot of people have hypothyroidism along with Costo ...

I'm male but I have costochondritis and have it on both sides and I experience tenderness in my chest muscles with it so I'm sure women would get the same so yep I think it's the costochondritis
