Costochondritis and indigestion

Had the classic stabbing in the sternum a d visit to the ER where Dr mentioned Costo twice. My GP confirmed the diagnosis on Wednesday, noting that women with shallow/concave chests can be more prone to this. He also noted although bloods were clear a change in my ST levels on the ECG, again more common in women (and a natural variant, I believe, in people of Slender or frail build). I guess these two combine to make me more susceptible.

Tonight I had bad indigestion, which seemed to amp up the pain. It decreased significantly after indigestion settled. Anyone else suffer with indigestion? I have remembered an intense itch at the base of my sternum for about a year (now I'm guessing this was the beginning) and last week was an anxiety induced flare. Sleeping propped up helps, I've been meditating to ease anxiety, having hot magnesium baths, and will be making an appointment with a Scenar pain clinic. Will let you all know if the Scenar treatment helps. Am taking curcumin tabs and using Fisiocrem too, with heat packs.

Why is it always worse in the evenings and nights. Has anyone found a bra they can wear with any degree of comfort?

Just used a Migrastick along the pain line with marked improvement almost instantly, woohoo. Wishing all speedy recovery and a return to painfree good health.
