Costochondritis, fibromyalgia or something else?

So for years now I have had a problem where only when I press or poke my ribs or collarbone I get a sharp pain that lingers for probably close to a minute. I’ve have random pain in all over for a while but nothing debilitating. Is this a normal symptom of costochondritis?

    YESSSSS!!!!!

    I happen to have both Costro and fibromyalgia. But thats how my Costro started.  I take Gabapentin for bad pain and fibromyalgia. Helps alot!!!!!

      Thank you so much for replying! I’m pretty sure I have one or both so I’ll be scheduling a doctor’s appointment this week.

    Good Luck!!!!  I have been to lots of specialists to rule out anything more serious. Thank God these conditions aren't  life threatening!!!!  Hang in there. It gets better smile
