Costocondritis and breast pain

Hi

Im 22 yrs old and have had a pain which feels like a bruise in my right breast just above bra line but cannot feel any obvious lumps in the area. I have also got some chest pain and some tenderness in my ribs below right breast. My doctor suspects it is costocondritis but I am just worried as the pain feels it could be in my breast tissue as well as my rib below. Does anyone else have this?

Yes it can feel like that sorry your suffering this horrible illness it can seem to go then comes back but I use aqua puncture to ease it and cold packs prefer not to use medication but my chiropractor says ibruprofen is best hope this helps

Do they know the cause of it? I'm unable to take Ibuprofen because of an ulcer so I don't get much relief. It's not bad all of the time though. When I am really anxious it makes the pain worse.

I have it as well and I feel little lumps in my breast and around my sternum but I had an ultrasound and mammogram and both were fine. Worrying makes the pain worse.

I have been experiencing stabbing pain in my breasts, which are followed a day or 2 later by massive bruising, which is followed by hard lumps. Mammogram and ultrasound are showing these lumps to be fat necrosis. This has been going on for about 4 months now. Meanwhile, my breastbone is extremely painful and the pain spreads to my back, and it hurts when I breathe. Today now I also have a hard painful swollen lump at the bottom of my sternum. My bloodwork shows elevated white blood cells. Lymphoma specialist says that my lymphoma is still in remission. It sounds like what I am experiencing may be Tietze's Syndrome, but I have not been diagnosed with it yet. Breast care center has no explanation for why I have these inflamed/swollen/bruised areas and lumps. They just say fat necrosiss. No idea why or how. Wondering if anyone else gets even some of this? That swelling and pain at bottom of breastbone today is awful.
