Cough after eating and drinking

I’m 11 weeks pregnant and for the past few weeks I have noticed that usually after I have eaten I usually drink. Then I had a horrible dry tickly cough that’s lasts for a long time afterwards! It feels as though I can’t swallow properly afterwards. I had a gaviscon and this completely stopped it would I be right in thinking this is indigestion or acid reflux? Is it worth going to the docors otherwise I’m

going to be having a lot of Gaviscon a day!

    Hi Sophie

Indigestion is so common in pregnancy, mention it to your gp on your next visit, I have reflux two years now and never get indigestion, lots of chest pain, back pain and burning, good luck with your new baby
