Coughed up a Throat stone

I had what felt like a popcorn hull stuck in my throat. I had not eaten any popcorn. It lasted about 3 days and I finally hacked up what was the size of pencil eraser brown speckled stone or pebble. It was hard, I could not squash it between finger and thumb. My finger nail broke it up into pieces though. I saved it in a tissue. I took a photo of the pieces best I could.     You probably have a tiny pouch in your throat where phlegm and food debris gets lodged. This is quite common,especially as you get older and its only when it has become large enough to irritate that its noticed,and then its coughed up. They are fairly common and many people experience the same as you.
