Could GA be linked with menopause

Hello! I've had GA on my hands for almost 5 years. I don't exactly know what caused it- menopause or trauma. I'm 55 now. Anyone shares my story?

    Hi

    I am 54 and have had mine 2 and a half years. it could be menopausal but then I think I had it when i was in my mid 30's too but it cleared when i got pregant then came back again when my son was about 12

    i have heard it goes during pregnancy as the hormones will suppress the immune system to prevent the body rejecting the embryo
