Could I be suffering withdrawal.

Had to come off citalopram after being on it for 8 weeks for intrusive thoughts and anxiety. GP told me to just stop then start sertraline after a weeks break. Been on it 7 weeks but not helping yet and anxiety went thought the roof coming up to Christmas. Just wondering if I could be suffering withdrawal symptoms fro the citalopram which is stopping new med working? Zopiclone withdrawal caused the anxiety but was on that fir years.

That's what I was afraid of , did wonder if I'd get withdrawal after only 8 weeks! Didn't have much choice with citalopram as hair just wasn't growing and kept falling out. Do you think that would mean sertraline takes longer to work? It's such a roller coaster just desperate for bit of improvement. Least christmas over that really stressed me out!!!!
