Could I have something else

I went to the my general doctors today and he confirmed it looks like i have genital warts. Ive been with my partner for over two years and trust that we have been faithful through out that time. I now have a clear discharge the consistency of pre cum. I need to pee more often and my urethra seems to be irritated. Could i have something else or does it sound like just hpv. My girlfriend has been vaccinated against HPV so I assume it has been lying dormant in my system. I have to ring the sexual health clinic tomorrow.

    did they do testing? or just based on the look? ask for a blood test. it can tell you if you have hsv1 hsv2 etc.

      He just looked, and told me to ring the sexual health clinic for treatment and to be tested.

      yeah id go to the clinic just to be sure. herpes is one of those things that can be contracted by skin on skin contact and one may not even know they have it. also as for as the HPV vaccine currently it only protects against 5 of the strains that cause cervical cancer so that does not mean that she couldnt have another strain of HPV
