Could it be endo??

Hello, I know the internet isn’t a place to get diagnosed, but I’m at my wits end. I’ve had horrible periods for years now, and it’s really starting to take a toll on me. My period started out fine, I didn’t have cramps but it did however last an entire two weeks my first time. But a year or so later, It started getting gradually worse and now I can barely move on the  first day of my cycle. My flow isn’t very heavy but I get massive clots that are painful to pass and cramps so bad I can’t even begin to think about eating anything. I get an awful throbbing pain down there and it feels like there’s a ton of pressure there. I sometimes get split second shooting pains that stop me in my tracks in my pelvic area even when I’m not on my period. I’ve mentioned these things to my doctor and she’s always dismissed it without looking into anything. I will have to get a job soon and I can’t even imagine how I’ll work with this pain. Please, I’d appreciate any advice at all

I would just see a different doctor about this, but I’ve lost my insurance and can’t afford to now.

Sounds like you must be in the States, too. If you're in a good-sized city there should be some kind of low-income clinic system and you might try that. If you're near a medical school, contact them as they might even have an endo specialist on staff. No matter the route, you will have to see a gyn. As to work, the only suggestion i've got isn't much, just to keep a heating pad at your chair.

Sounds familiar..rolleyes Don't wait till your in stage 4 like me.. I'm having surgery soon. The sooner you get it checked out the better. And get more than one docs opinion.
