Hi John, your level of anxiety would suggest this may be linked to recent sexual activity and the possibility you may have contacted something? Obviously, if you feel you put yourself at risk go get yourself checked out.
However, if people had STD / STI checks every time these kinds of marks appeared on their genitalia then Sexual Health Services would be flooded with anxious people wanting to be tested. You make the choice, where you at risk of an STD / STI -then go get checked, if no risk keep an eye on it and see if anything else develops ......

actually i am on a relationship with my fiancee 3 years now so i do not fear something like that. to tell you the truth this fear got into me after a recent conversation with a friend. this is the reason. maybe this spot was there for years and i noticed it now. i also applied vinegar on it but it has not changed colour. i had previous relationships 2 more times in the past and because i read on the internet that you might develop tje virus even years after i got really anxious. thank you very much

Okay John. I see what you are getting at now. When you talk about virus, are you meaning the Herpes virus? If so, there are two types of the Herpes Virus (HSV-1 & HSV-2) that cause symptoms in two areas of the body - around the mouth, and these often show as Cold Sores around the mouth, often during the winter, and as genital warts.
If it is this was what you were talking about in the conversation you mention the two strains can get mixed around if you receive oral sex from someone who is a carrier of the Herpes virus. You need to know that the Herpes Virus is so common in many populations that the majority of people are carriers of it - it may not even cause them a problem, but they can pass it on to someone who is not a carrier.
There is a really good explanation of this on a web site I recently found - as I am not permitted to give you the address of an external web site, here is what you need to look up:
.
"Planned Parenthood " .......... " Oral & Genital Herpes "
Google it ....
.
Ohh, and if you actually did mean HPV there is also a detailed explanation of that at the same web site, so again Planned Parenthood, then:
.
" What is HPV? "
