Hi guys,

4-5 years ago i had a really bad pain in my right eye and the vision started getting really bad. I could not even move my eyes to a side. So i decided to go to emergency and got it checked out. I had eye inflamation were my vision nerves were destroyed and from then onwards never got  my vision back. The doc said this is a symptom but doesant mean I have MS. Then i didnt even know what it was. So i moved on with my life.

I always had lower back pain and still do i dont know if that means anything.

For the past 4 days, I got pins and needles in my legs but i can still feel my legs. this is scaring me and i dont know what to do about it. For some reason i think that i have MS.

I have also been in a serious relationship with my girlfriend for 9 years since she was 14 and me 16. On our 9 years anniversary i proposed to her and we are planning to get married in 2018. After this weird feeling I am worried that if i have MS I wont allow myself to marry her as she has Stargards. Stargardt macular degeneration is a genetic eye disorder that causes progressive vision loss.

My worries are that i wont be able to look after her....

Nothing is confirmed that I have MS...

At the moment i walk normaly and feel my legs but it just feels weird.

 What shall i do????

See a homeopath Doctor. Their methods and medications are much more effective than conventional docs.

It is still too early to tell.  Doctors may not tell you if they know you are getting married or they do not know themselves.  I saw a doctor before I got married, but my test results were lost (which I don't believe--I think the news was bad and the doctor didn't want to tell me).  Doesn't matter though.  My husband-to-be made all sorts of beautiful promises and we separated right after we went through a strike at work and had a baby.  All sorts of things other than MS can happen.

thanks for replies david66747 and Treezie....Im sorry to hear that Treezie.

Today i woke up with strange feeling in my stomach the same feeling i have in my legs. This feels like pins and needles/pressur and feels like its getting hotter. But my temperature is totally normal. I decided to go to emergency today. lets see what the doctors say today. there is also another problem, The first time i had eye inflamation was when i lived in london like 5 years ago. Now i'm back in Switzerland and the doctors here dont know anything about my medical history....hopefully this doesnt get complicated.

Hi Melroy, it sounds as if you had optic neuritis, the first time your sight was badly impacted. I have MS (diagnosed in 2004), one of my worst symptoms, since the early days, has been pain (note:most of us with MS DON'T end up with chronic pain). My most prevalent pain has been in my lower back.

It's probably worth your while to contact whichever drs surgery or consultant's office that you dealt with, here in the UK, and ask them to send (probably email) your notes, regarding your earlier health issues, either to you, or whichever GP/primary Dr you go to where you are

With regards to your upcoming marriage, congratulations, and you really shouldn't be thinking that your health problems are a reason to be thinking that you shouldn't go ahead. If you haven't already done so, please speak to your fiancée about your concerns. I hope that the fact that you're both living with health problems might bring you even closer. Take care, and ENJOY your upcoming wedding!

      Thank you for commenting Wendy.

I was discharged yesterday and I had a lot of checkups and the doctors in Switzerland did a great job. They diagnosed me with mild Ms starting..ang also prescribed me some medications as well as referring me to a specialist. I think I'm a lot more confident now that I can deal with it and I have the strength to overcome that. 👍🏻

I'm glad you have an answer, sometimes, knowing what we're dealing with can be very empowering. I recommend finding some way to relax, stress isn't helpful to us, at all. I hope your future marriage is wonderful, and that you're both gloriously happy! XX
