Could my contraceptive Nexplanon have failed?

any advice greatfully accepted!

I have used nexplanon for 10 years, and am now on my 4th implant (had it in for a year).

over the whole 10 years I have not had regular periods, just the occasional spotting which suited me.

however over the last few months I have started having periods again regularly, one of which lasted 12 days! I am also fairly sure I was feeling ovulation pain mid cycle.

could this mean my implant has stopped working? It's making me anxious and I'm thinking of asking for it to be replaced.I am genuinely sick of bleeding!!
