Could only see white/gray when entering my bedroom last night.?

I have no health conditions. I was laying in bed 2 minutes when I realized I forgot to brush my teeth. (I was NOT dreaming.) Got up, didn't turn on any lights except the bathroom light. Cut the light in the bath and turned into my bedroom. I stopped in my tracks as all I could see was white/gray. I felt my way to my bed and still could not see anything. I felt my pillow and my hand up above since I couldn't see my large framed picture hanging over my bed. I could feel it but not see it even 1 foot away from me. It was late and I have an early morning. I should have stayed awake to see how long it would have lasted. Its just so strange. What the heck is going on? Thank You!

It could be a sudden dip in blood pressure as you were laying down and then got up. If it happens again try to take some daily blood pressure readings...you can buy blood pressure monitors quite easily. Then if it is beginning to worry you take the readings to your doctor who can advise.

You dont say if you are male or female but if you are middle aged or older it would be a good idea to get checked out anyway, as sudden dips in BP can lead to fainting.
