Could these lumps be herpes?

Hi

Two months ago I had sexual contact with someone who has herpes (didn't have a breakout at the time) but since then I have not felt "right".

For weeks I have felt a burning at the back of my throat but I don't think it is an allergy or reflux etc.

I recently had a look in and noticed some raised, blistery looking lumps on both sides near the back of my tongue, on the soft palate area.

I have attached a few pictures.

I have no other symptoms other than a burning sensation in the throat and a general run down feeling.

I visited the GP yesterday who peered in for all of 2 seconds and I didn't have the guts to tell him the above! He said the throat doesn't look infected but I wasn't getting at that...

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you.

My HSV did not come out like that .

To be safe, please do a blood test for all STD and urine test for HPV .
