Could these previous signs be hsv-2?

I had a past partner tell me they tested positive for HSV-2. It has been over a month since we were together and I am planning to get tested. I have no symptoms currently. At first, I didnt think I ever experienced an outbreak or symptoms. I've never had pain, extreme itching, blisters, ulcer, or fluid filled vesicles. Looking back though, I've had random (and not severe) itching on one side of the labia (told is was chronic mild yeast infection by Dr.) , and the formation of a single hard reddish bump in a couple spots on the labia majora (only one at a time). When I got those bumps (maybe 3-4 times over 3 years) they felt a little deeper in the skin and firm almost like cystic acne or a boil, but never came to a head or burst, they just went away and i thought they were ingrowns. They would be mildly painful to touch but not sensitive at all. Could those hard bumps be herpes outbreak? Im pretty anxious I've had it and didnt notice before because its not painful or classic. Going to a doctor soon but thoughts appreciated.

I would do a full panel test. Herpes is a tricky virus comes in all shapes and sizes. My single ingrown hair turned out to be herpes. I'm not saying that to scare you but the safest thing to do is to get tested.
