    Hi 165195

Th symptoms you are presenting could be many medical problems..You need to get a blood test for inflammation and ESR and CRP test and ANA test and a dsDNA test for lupus. However it could turn our to be Polymyalgia Rheumatica..or vit deficiencies such as Vit B12...which presents with the symptoms you describe. ..it could also be your glucose levels.....You really need to go see your doc and have these tests carried out..my very best wishes to you 165195 for a speedy diagnosis..

This could be lupus. Its more likely to be idiopathic - but it could be lupus.

    Any rashes anywhere?

A simple ANA blood test can rule out lupus.

Hi I agree could be Lupus but also other auto immune conditions. Agree with Lilian about the blood tests however, don't agree a negative ana test can rule out Lupus. All specialists in this area will be aware that Lupus doesn't always show up in blood tests so be careful of that. All too often people struggle to get a diagnosis because of this. You need a good specialist to look at what might be going on and monitor symptoms.

Follow the suggestions given in the previous comments.

It's likely to be lupus. I have all of your symptoms plus other ones. It can be the beginning of AI diseases which take some years to get diagnosed. Hope you have answers as soon as possible. All the best!

      I agree with margaret67433.

It can be the beginning of AI diseases. 8 years ago I had urticaria. Then i began a healthy diet. The process slowed down. But the veins on my hands were very blue too. I thought it could be part of the ageing. I was 45. Throughout the time the skin in my hands and low arms has become darker and thicker. As well on my neck. Was recently diagnosed with cut5 lupus but i think i have other AI. Sjogren's, Raynaud's to say the least.

Be attentive and read as much as you can so that it helps you understsnd what is on your body.

      All the best
