Could this be a nonmelanoma skin cancer?

I am nearly 25 y/o and I have had this spot on my scalp for over a year right along where I part my hair (at first I thought it was a pimple). It is usually fleshy/shiny and pinkish but it sometimes scabs/crusts over and oozes clear and seems like it might be healing (but never does). I explained this to my GP over the phone but he didn't want to see a pic or have me come in to look at it, he didn't ask a single question, he simply brushed it off saying it was a cyst and to leave it alone. I am not left reassured after this and don't know if I should ask for a second opinion.

First 2 pics are recent (one where it looks pink and fleshy and one where it had scabbed over), 3rd pic (where I have painted fingernails) is from Jan 2020
