Could this be chilblains?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've had tender spots on my fingers for the last 2 winters. They started up last January, I changed my skincare routine thinking it could perhaps be an allergy, but they didn't stop. As soon as spring hit, they stopped and I haven't had any issues until last week when they flared back up, leading me to believe it's to do with the winter.

I had a google as you do, and the most common answer is Chilblains, but when google imaging they look nothing like that, nor are they itchy or "filled" with anything. They're just quite tender. Was wondering if anyone could help, as I'm reluctant to book an appt with a GP for something so minor that isn't causing me any trouble. Have attached a video to get a proper look

Thank you in advance, really appreciate it

They certainly look like chilblains which usually itch when they get warm. You need to wear gloves in the cold. I was absolutely covered in chilblains as a child and was given vitamin K tablets.

Since that time I have never had any more chilblains so worth a try.
