could this be from friction and “rough” sex or could be herpes?

Hi people, hope some of you might help me out! since saturday I started notice small abrasions and wounds on my genital area. At first I had ignored but in just a few hours it had became so painful I could barely walk. Must be said that I've had very rough sex between Friday and Sunday. I'm delicate, and I wasn't all the time lubrificated enough. SO i thought these wounds might be a consequence of the friction plus perhaps the shaving I did before?

The person claims he's 100% sure he does not have any STDs. image

I saw two doctors and one said that it doesn't look like herpes but seems like it is friction wounds that got infected, the other one said it looks like herpes, so I'm very confused. Perhaps someone has had this kind of wounds? did it end up being Herpes or an STD?

I took a blood test just to be sure, Ill have the results in a few days, just wanted to ask if someone experienced the same thing.

I can see where it does look like herpes but best u can do is wait for results and get on proper medication if it is herpes.

never believe anyone about being 100% clean unless you see tests for yourself. that being said it does look similar to herpes. especially if the pain is getting worse.

i get abraisions from rough sex and they never get worse. yours could have gotten infected. that could be another possability. i would get swabbed ASAP so the

Which test did you do? IGG type test is the most accurate, however, you'll only be able to get a reliable result 4 months after exposure.

Swabs are the most reliable, as they test for the live virus, but only if done within 72 hours.

It looks like it could be an HSV outbreak.

The person may think hes clean, but herpes is not tested for on routine STD tests, which very few people are aware of, so they think they know their herpes status, but don't.

HSV can also be dormant for years (80% of carriers have no idea they have it).

It can also be transmitted to the genitals by someone who has oral HSV (cold sores), by receiving oral from them, even if they haven't had one for years.

I would go and request antivirals as they can help clear it up quicker and lidocaine gel to numb the area a bit if youre too uncomfortable (my first outbreak was worse than child birth lol stuff was a god send).

Baths with epsom salt helps clean to prevent secondary infection and dried the sores to help healing.

Ice! I always had ice handy to help with additional relief.

Lemon balm salve also helps heal outbreaks.
