Could this be Genital Herpes?

My last sexual encounter was around about 6 weeks ago, and I have just now experienced symptoms of what I think may be genital herpes. I have experienced the typical flu-like symptoms, but I also have a sore throat and congestion so I may just be sick. I noticed bumps on my labia that are small and white, so I am wondering if they are herpes sores or Fordyce spots, because there are so many of them. In regards to HSV-1, I have had cold sores my whole life, typically 2 per year. I have read that it is uncommon to get HSV-1genitally if you already have it orally, due to built up immunity, so does this mean that it could be HSV-2? I have attached pictures of my condition.

Every now and then I’ll have an itch and slight soreness, but I believe that is due to my period

I think if it is herpes it must be very itchy or painful coz it looks like being not a mild infection.

      See a dr. Pls

Hi Karen, by the looks of it it does not look like typical herpes sores which are normally ulcer sores which open and fluid leaks from, they then turn into scabs.

I wouldn't say it looks like herpes but to be sure you should go to the doctors to get a culture swab which is the most accurate test. If not you can get a igg test done in 6 weeks time.

    Good luck x
