so basically i have been having a few issues, about a month ago i recently got off the birthcontrol shot (depo) due to constant bleeding( i was on it for about 6 months) and i had realized that my vaginal area became very very dry (which was one of the reasons why i decided to get off). i was doing research and i read that often times the depo shot puts women in a premenopausal state and the reason i got put on depo was because i got bariatric surgery. bariatric surgery does change my estrogen levels so i dont produce as much as i did pre surgery and since the depo shot is low dose estrogen or (no estrogen) i feel as though thats what triggered my symptoms( i havent been sexually active in over two years btw) so last month i was due to get my third shot of depo which i didnt go and my symptoms started on septemeber 30th and i have been having constant burning and when i talked to my gyno he said its most likely contact dermititis due to the fact that my vaginal area is very dry and i wear pads( every day for about 6 months cus of depo) and i was reading the symptoms of lichen sclerosis and its very similar to what im experiencing now. its been like a month and a week and im still experiencing the discomfort and i have the feeling my mother might have it also because i read that estrogen therapy helps treat it and my mother has alot of estrogen creams, im still not sure but im going to upload some photos ( blood warning still bleeding from depo shot ): can someone please help. !i have been checking down there to see if there are any changes but there hasnt but i still get that burning sensation especially when my pad kinda rubs against it 😦 it can be very uncomfortable but i havent noticed any cuts or blisters or ulcers or anything. coconut oil seems to help but honestly i just want to be like how it was beforeimageimageimage
