Could this be LS, or LP?

Hello There,

I, 21m and Uncircumcised, noticed large white "patches"? on my glans and inner foreskin.

I have been to the GP before and he originally prescribed me HC 1% cream, incase it was a Bacterial Infection. A week later; nothing changed, so he instead referred me to a Dermatologist Clinic in March. I had asked him what he thought it could be, and he said it could be Lichen Planus; however, I'm not sure if it is. Of course i'd much prefer it to be, as its less drastic overall; but I hate not knowing exactly what is wrong with me.

I've recently started Betamethasone, 7 days ago now, and I can't see any improvement, unfortunately.
