Could this be prolapse?

Last week I noticed something bulging out of my vagina, and it was accompanied by sharp abdominal pain. The bulge was not very large, but I could see it with a mirror. I visited the ER, but they didn't run any exams and didn't really do anything for me other than suggest I visit my OBGYN. I did have a laparotomy last November due to a large cyst in my right tube. I am currently taking megestrol due to heavy bleeding that has lasted me over four months now. I have set up an appointment with my doctor, but it will be a couple of weeks until I see her. I had delayed a bit on setting the appointment, because for a day I didn't see the bulge, and I thought it had gone away, but it's back. I was wondering if this sounds like a prolapse, and if it is urgent. I am 21 years old, don't have children, and I am not sexually active.

    Hi ladies, just wanted to update you all. It turns out it was nothing major, it wasn't prolapse. It was just excessive uterine lining, and I had to have a d&c to have it removed. It was a rather simple procedure, just pending my results now as it's being checked for cancerous cells. Thanks for you alls help 😊
