Could this be the Bacterial Vaginosis or chemical reaction?

Last Tuesday i started to get itchy down there. I didnt have money to get any monistat so i decided to wait it out. By Thursday i started looking up home remedies. I saw online where it says to soak a tampon in hydrogen peroxide and put it inside your vagina. & i think before that i did the same thing with apple cider vinegar! They burned like hell but i was trying to find the cheap way out.
Friday at work the pain was bad and my vagina was swelling so i ended up leaving work early to go to the ER. They gave me a pelvic exam and diagnosed me with Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis. Believable because it always sneaks up on me repeatedly. They prescribed me Flagyl (the gel and the pills) whichever i preferred. I ended up using the gel because the pills are disgusting 🤢 one i started inserting the gel i got this bad flare up. It was super uncomfortable i couldnt walk and i ended up getting more swollen and blisters.
I ended up going back to the ER and they checked my urine to tell me i also have a UTI. So i went to the doctor and he gave me flagyl. Ive been on the flagyl for 2 days taking two a day. Could this be a chemical burn? Plz help

I tried that before what I learned is it only made things worse the tampon. I'm not sure with the Flagy I never had that but if it's doing that to you I would stop taking it now! Everyone reacts different to things and that's your bodies way of saying stop. I've been given the metro one that helped for a week. The only thing that's kept me in balance is type in balance complex for women. It's a white bottle with purple writing, it's 40 dollars for a bottle and has great reviews. Also work out seriously when I don't work out for awhile my discharge will start to smell alittle. Wear cotton underwear, wear only pads, and do NOT DRINK COFFEE!
