Hi, I haven't been able to see a specialist. I haven't even been diagnosed other then my GP saying it could be fibro. Anyway this episode has left me with bruises around my knee. Has anyone experienced this? The pain started in my groin and then moved to my knee. My knee was so huge and now it's moved to my foot. I wish I could get help

Thank you Kristy I didn't know what to think. I was referred but they aren't taking any new patients. I get a burning sensation on the tops of my hands and feet sometimes. I found if I put lavander oil and vetiver oil in my lotion it helps sooth. The other thing that helped was spraying biofreeze wherever I have hideous pain and burning. I have yet to sleep through the night but edibles help.

I'm so sorry that anyone has to go throug.h this. Maybe I'll find a doctor after the holidays. Thank goodness this site and people like you are here.

I have waited over a year for mine to be sorted but am finally getting somewhere nw I recently seen the pain specialist an he told me it was fibro but am seeing rheumatologist in Jan.. I find some doctors are useless my doctor told me I was a mystery..

If it weren't for my urology nurse I wud still be going rnd in circles they

      was so helpful..

Ye I get burning sensation in my feet but also the bottom of my feet get so itchy it's unbearable..

I tried the heat spray which made me worse as I ad a allergic reaction to so I nw use heat pads or hot water bottle...sleeping is so hard I sleep mostly on my couch as I hate keeping husband awake an also find it comfy sometimes I wake up with my head hanging off the couch an feet at the top..

It's is a horrible thing to have an I wud never wish it on my worst enemy. If you have Facebook there is sites on there that help as well I found this site very helpful an all the ppl on here are lovely an always there just to chat or give advice

I'll be seeing him tomorrow. As for now, it has moved to my back where I have a couple of disc problems. I can't remember being this depressed.

Hi creola your gp needs to refer you to see a rhumatologist, its they that diagnose fibromyalgia. I have had fibro for 10 years only got diagnised last year. I have had swelling of my right knee and also bruising my gp just put it down to fibro. which from research Ive done my self can happen with fibro  I would go back and see your gp about your knee and also ask for a referal to see rheumatologist. take care
