Could you recommend a good medical center or some Doctor...

Hello, greetings from Ecuador....

When I was a baby I burst the eardrum , as a child I suffered vertigo and constant migraines. Today I´m 21 years old and I have vertigo and panic attacks, the doctor prescribes me PAXIL but every time when we try to removed the medication I have episodes of vertigo and panic attacks again. The neurologist and Otolaryngologist made me magnetic resonance scanning and tests of vertigo and determined that middle ear is the problem.

I am currently without medication but I have a constant vertigo and panicattacks, I'm thinking to go to United America to seek another opinion...

If someone suffers the same problem or someone can advise me where to go I will appreciate it.

Sorry for my English...

Hi Freddy,  to start off I would recommend you look at a very good site, Veda, Vestibular Disorders Association.(They also have a Facebook page), but the main site has a lot,of information all kinds of vertigo, causes, treatments, explanations etc etc. It is an American based site. They also have a list of drs all over the world that treat this. P.s. Your English is very good! bueno!

Don't bother coming here for help Freddy. The doctors here don't know any better. We are experiments to them. Meds do not work. I am currently trying Ginger capsules with meals. I'll let you know how that works.  You need to take everyday slowly and try to function as normally as possible and learn to live with it. I have mine for 10 years.

Yes i hear the same from US sufferers! Am beginning to wonder what country is better at it than us in UK.,i'm in my 6th year coming up 7 and like, you i handle,it my own way now as there's no point  me going to GP for a referral as it'll be more of the same stuff that doesn't help!
