Couldn’t move hands after sex, anyone know why?

So me and my boyfriend had sex the other night and after a while I had a numb feeling swell through my whole body (the same sort of feeling you get when you’ve sat with your legs crossed for a while and then you uncross them and one has gone fizzy) and I realised that both my hands were flexed at the wrist and my fingers in a pinching position. Despite all my efforts I could not move my hands out of this position. It hasn’t happened to me before after sex and I wasn’t in any position that was compressing a nerve in my axilla. After 30 minutes or so I gradually began to regain control of moving my hand but they became shakey for a while after that.

I don’t know if it’s relevant but earlier that night I’d felt very faint and I got the mirena coil inserted last week.

Does anyone have an idea why this happened?

Have you had you had your blood pressure checked recently? High pressure can cause numbness and tingling and also dizziness/headaches etc.
