Couldn't sleep,

hi,this is me again,im about to sleep because its already late at night but,my minds focus only in my irrational thoughts that cousing me awake.my eyes already need to sleep.but mind doesnt,any one knows here what techniques u use so that you can sleep peacefully without even thingking those irrational thoughts that stuck on your mind,somebody need helps pls.!

    I know how frustrating that can be. Remember that you are not your thoughts. They are separate from you. When you get a negative thought, don’t get upset. Simply focus your mind on the present moment. And let that thought drift away.

    you can get help with this .I do this every night. I go on YouTube and I search for meditations for the present moment. There are hundreds of them!

    They will teach you how to Focus on the present moment which is the only thing that actually exists. It keeps you out of the past which is gone and out of the worry about the future which does not exist yet.they are very comforting and soothing and very peaceful! The more you practice this the more control you all have over your mind. Those negative thoughts don’t have to torture you as long as you don’t follow them!you can listen to the short meditations or longer ones several times a day and before you go to sleep. The more you practice the stronger control you will have! Hope this helps take care
